SC Defender does not pull any punches. If our opinion leads us to think certain people are idiots, morons, even assholes, they will be labeled as such. Few Bible thumpers realize the language used by even Christ Himself was pretty rough in the original languages which He used. St. Paul was the same, way. There was no "political correctness" in Jesus' time.
If authors of articles here say they lean towards pagan philosophy, then this is their choice, and any other authors who may contribute in the future will not be treated with intolerance. Authors here are here because we have something in common, generally a quest for truth in all things, and exposing dishonesty. Thor and Shadowkitty used to be bitter opponents of mine on two different forums. Yet we found common ground in our mutual hatred of the dishonest tactics used by both SC detractors as well as FactNet's staff and alleged "former" staff.
As I have proven several times here, comments by those who we have written about are always welcomed, no matter what. We do not censor here. That way, we cannot be charged with cowardice or manipulation, unlike FactNet, who are overweighted with examples of both.
Though language peppered with slang may be distracting or offensive to some, authors are welcome to express themselves in any way they choose. All too often offensive language was used as an excuse to distract from greater offenses committed by those in the far left atheist camp at FactNet, and we wish to distance ourselves from any suspicion of doing that here. Truth is all that matters. For example, someone could be comparing Murray and SC folks to the Nazis, and if a Chapel student would call that person an idiot for doing so, the SC student would be warned for flaming and insulting another FactNet member, yet there was no problem with the detractor comparing the SC Church to Nazis.
That one time Jeff_Franklin was temporarily banned for doing so was not indicative of fairness. In fact, it was merely window dressing to try and appease those who detected the bias on behalf of FactNet's moderator, who was having problems trying to stay neutral, due to the SC defenders always taking the other side of his arguments. he was liberal, and the others Conservative, and he was using that bias as an escape mechanism.
When pressed for an excuse why this bias was apparent, SCers were told that person had a right to his or her opinion. So if SCers think that person is a moron for claiming this is that not just an opinion? So obviously the FactNet moderators used the abusive language PC excuse to stifle those who they wished to oppose. When abusive language was not used, other excuses were made to make participation difficult for SC people, a a topic already treated here in depth in previous articles.

The "Eye" On Factnet's "Jeff_Franklin" SC Detractor
Along with "Stage_Director", "Jeff_Franklin" his handle at FactNet, make up two of the most absurd SC detractors. Dishonest or mentally challenged, take your pick, both are totally loony. That isn't just opinion. Franklin's number one looniest claim: that Genesis 3:15 is properly translated to people stomping on baby snakes and their eggs. But that's just one of his enumerable absurd utterances he has spewed all over FactNet, and that isn't limited to just SC related threads.
I guess it goes with the territory. For whatever reason, I suspect not enough "ammo" to get or keep anyone's attention, SC detractors must use any number of misleading and dishonest tactics. Misrepresentation of what the SC teaches, adding their own interpretations to SC teachings and then treating them as what the SC intended to teach, accusations based upon rumors, lies, and spin, all are part of the general arsenal of the typical SC detractor.
The reason, as I touched upon in the above paragraph, is because there simply isn't enough controversial material to keep or maintain a non-stop attack on the SC. 90% of what the SC teaches is straight Bible. There generally are only two issues that SC detractors focus upon. The Serpent Seed theory or doctrine if you will, and the attendant charges of antisemitism. Polygenism, the belief that the races were created separately, which detractors spin into a racism charge against the SC is the second. Neither charge is valid, and those topics have been addressed here in previous articles. Spinning those two topics feeds detractors i false charges. But to give you the short version, the ADL and SPLC do not list the Shepherd's Chapel among hate groups of any kind. And one must ask: If detractors are correct in their accusations, then why not?
The detractors highlighted here could never give an answer, even though they tried, with absolutely comic results. One finally, after forty, yes, forty days of a daily repetition of the question on FactNet's forum, finally admitted she didn't know.(Stage Director). "Jeff_Franklin" was a bit more creative, claiming that the ADL named known mentors and influences to Pastor Arnold Murray. The problem with that is Murry is the only one left alive out of the list, arguably thus would naturally be recognized as the torch bearer for his now dead predecessors. There's one problem with this: they do not. This is because they realize what the SC detractors here do not. Murray does not teach what they did.
Jeff_Franklin is so obsessed with unfairly comparing Murray and all SC students to Nazis, he was booted off FactNet for a time for doing so. And he was the butt of a humorous Photoshop image reproduced here:
Not learning his lesson, but having no SC students (due to the eradication campaign by FactNet's out of control far left atheist staff) to complain about it, Jeff_Franklin is still merrily comparing Murray and SC students to the Hitler regime.
However, after six years and thousands of posts stretching across at least three websites, Jeff_Franklin, like "Stage Director" (and any other Chapel critics for that matter) have, in their own ironic way, actually helped the SC grow, by causing others to take a look for themselves. One they do, they know who are the false accusers.

Back on Track: Shepherd's Chapel Defender
Now that FactNet.org host to probably the largest collection of Shepherd's Chapel pro and con arguments has been exposed as the far left nest of vipers they are, it's time to give you a streamlined version of just what the fuss is about when it comes to the SC.
Generally, there are two major issues that critics and detractors point to. One is their charge that the SC's Serpent Seed (SS) teachings automatically aligns the SC with white supremacist groups within the Christian Identity (CI) movement. Christian Identity maintains that the tribes of Israel populated the British Isles, many becoming Christianized, and the term "British (or Anglo)-Israelism is used to describe adherents. The charge is strengthened by the fact there are quite a few CI groups that do teach a version of the Serpent's Seed. Please note the word 'version' here.
But the fact is even the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) recognizes there are Churches that teach the SS but without the component of accusing modern ethnic jewry of being the direct descendants of Cain. This except from the ADL's website explains:
" Once on American shores, British-Israelism began to evolve. Originally, believers viewed contemporary Jews as descendants of those ancient Israelites who had never been "lost." They might be seen critically but, given their significant role in the British-Israel genealogical scheme, not usually with animosity. By the 1930s, however, in the U.S., a strain of anti-Semitism started to permeate the movement (though some maintained traditional beliefs - and a small number of traditionalists still exist in the U.S.)."
Among that "small number of traditionalists" is the Shepherd's Chapel. This explains why the SC is neither mentioned in the list of hate groups published by the ADL or the Southern Poverty Law Center, the later even has a reputation of being overzealous when it comes to defining hate groups. This is due to their far-left agenda which attacks Christianity, even eschewing our national security by labeling anti-illegal immigration Christian groups as hate groups.
One fact regarding the SS teaching is that even ancient Jewish writings make mention of the Serpent's Seed.
This is one issue that was routinely ignored by the detractors during arguments documented on the SC threads at FactNet. And on the few occasions they were badgered into responding, they did so by summarily dismissing those writings as merely myth, or even by claiming the ancient Rabbinical school of simply "not knowing what they are talking about."
Ancient Jewish texts such as the Targums do well in explaining that the line of Cain, and his nature and destiny is summed up by the Jewish Encyclopedia (JE):
"Cain was also viewed as a type of utter perverseness, an offspring of Satan (Pirḳe R. El. xxi.), "a son of wrath" (Apoc. Mosis, 3), a lawless rebel who said, "There is neither a divine judgment nor a judge" (Midr. Leḳaḥ Ṭob and Targ. Yer. to Gen. iv. 8), whose words of repentance were insincere (Sanh. 101b; Tan.), whose fleeing from God was a denial of His omnipresence (Gen. R. xxii.), and whose punishment was of an extraordinary character: for every hundred years of the seven hundred years he was to live was to inflict another punishment upon him; and all his generations must be exterminated (Test. Patr., Benjamin, 7, according to Gen. iv. 24; Enoch, xxii, 7). For him and his race shall ever be "the desire of the spirit of sin" (Gen. R. xx., after Gen. iv. 7). He is the first of those who have no share in the world to come (Ab. R. N. xli., ed. Schechter, p. 133)."
http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/3904-cain
While the JE argues all descendants of Cain died in the flood, I suspect this is only due to the majority believing that the flood of Noah was worldwide, a point hotly debated among many. The term for these sons of Cain used by most SS believers is 'Kenite' i.e. son of Cain also spelled 'Cainites'. In the Old Testament, this tribe of Kenites is mentioned in several places post-flood and in present tense, which is puzzling in the face of the Targums claiming all had perished in the Flood. Be that as it may, St. Ireneaus spoke of the 'Cainites' a Gnostic sect judged heretical by the Catholic Church claiming they could trace their lineage back to Cain. Why they would be proud to do so points in the direction of the being a thread of truth to the SS, as the Cainites by strong consensus among scholars were a very wicked bunch.
Finally, if one spends the tome to research the SS teaching in the form taught by the SC, one would have to conclude that the SC is just what the ADL claims. That it is one of the smaller group of Churches that teach a traditional version of the Serpent's Seed, one that is not antisemitic.

FactNet's "Expanding" Incompentence
FactNet's staff, which may now only consist of "Dodge" the liberal atheist self described board troll and Christian antagonist, appears to be desperate for new users. Consider this notice placed on the FatcNet forum:
05-09-2012 07:23 PM #1
"FACTnet is expanding beyond the subject of cults, and opening up the forum to subjects like climate change. We’re interested in stimulating open debates and opinions, examining the scientific evidence of global warming and whether human activity is largely responsible; and of course criticism from those who have different points of view. Is the Earth warming, are we responsible, will it cause serious problems for us in the future, and if so what can we do about it? We hope there will be interest here in looking into and discussing what many believe to be one of the most important issues facing life on this planet. If you want to join in on the discussion":
http://factnet.org/vbforum/showthrea...imate-Changing
My advice: if you don't believe that mankind can affect the climate, expect to be harrassed, incted to anger, and ultimately banned from posting on that forum. All one has to do is read the articles here to see what a cesspool that site is, who is running it, and what they have done in the past to users there, and then make up your own mind if you want to expose yourself to that lunacy.
It's become a left wing propaganda conduit. If you don't believe me, send FactNet an email asking how many Conservatives are on their moderating staff. The address is mrfactnet@gmail.com Good luck getting a response. And if you do it will probably be full of lies anyway. They aren't exactly chugging truth serum over there.
By the way, the announcement was unnecessary. After all, there has always been topics that had nothing to do with cults, so it's nothing but bloviating to make an announcement saying they are "moving beyond the subject of cults." I guess Dodge just likes to feel in control of something, and making an announcement that he is going to move beyond the discussion of cults ffeds the urge. If you ask me, he should work on getting control of his bladder and bowels first, and then move up from there.
In my opinion, Dodge, if he is the new "theadmin" as I suspect, is beating a dead horse.
He's just looking for more troll victims to try and bully with his brilliant intellect. Those he can't bully get banned. He only preys on the weak, hence the term bullying. His favorite topics are ones that pit liberals against Conservatives, so "climate change" certainly fits the bill. I'm not saying all Conservatives think cimate change is a hoax, but it's safe to say the majority do, especially anthropogenic climate chnage. After all the Bible predicted there would be strange weather in the last days of the age.
"There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and epidemics in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs in the heavens ... On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea."
Luke 21:11,25
Atheists will claim anything to try and deny the existence of God. So be it. But to argue that mankind is changing the weather and that we can change it the way we want it to be is the height of arrogance and ignorance. In yesterdays' articel here, I noted that Dodge wrote about fossil fuel consumption pumps billions of tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. To that I say big deal, there TRILLIONS of tons of air enveloping this planet, so that's like pissing into the ocean.
An analogy which describes how these cretins think is the BP oil spill. Sure, millions of gallons of oil were released into the Gulf of Mexico. But there are trillions of gallons of water. A few birds and other animals died, but the oil dissipated. But while it was occurring, "scientists" were claiming it would take 20 years for the Gulf to return to normal. It's bullshit. I work in the Gulf, the fishing is great, oyster beds are producing nice plump oysters, shrump are so plentiful the fisherman are complaining about the prices the're getting for them. The current administration is anti-oil, so much so some people think the BP spill was sabotage. So no wonder the parade of doomsayers claiming the death of the Gulf were quoted by an equally prejudicial media.
The bottom line: liberals despise fossil fuels as much as they despise those who believe in God, and will do anything to try and destroy both.

FACTNET.ORG: RIP May 2012
No, the site is still up, but one wonders why. After all, a quick check of active threads shows very few are active. It was once a vibrant, active site with quite a few users spanning many topics. But considering the
actions of the staff, I'm surprised it really lasted as long as it did. Whoever is now paying to keep the site up is wasting their money, unless, of course, they are using other people's money i.e taxpayers, to spread left wing propaganda.
One laughable thread that has attracted the former lunatic faction of the Shepherd's Chapel threads (by the way, we are two days away from a month since anyone has posted to any SC thread) is the one dedicated to "Climate Change". Climate Change used to be called "Global Warming" until a few record setting severe winters went by, making a laughing stock out of the term. Undaunted, liberal idiots and the media have now popularized the term "climate change" so they can keep blaming evil capitalists and their corporations and can dream up scams like "carbon taxes" to take money from them, line their pockets, and then throw a few bones to poor countries, who in turn will kick back money to those same politicians so they can be re-elected and keep the gravy train going.
One notable post by "theadmin" sounds more like a classic "Dodge" post. Has the original Admin left the site? Is Dodge the last of the incompetent staff? It sure seems like it.
One of the funniest quotes I read on that thread is this:
"Human activities have increased the concentration of carbon dioxide and certain other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Detailed worldwide records of fossil fuel consumption indicate that fossil fuel burning currently releases over 30 billion tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every year. Tropical deforestation and other land use changes release an additional 3 to 5 billion tons every year."
Dodge, who fashions himself such a genius, who wrote that crap above, apparently doesn't realize that plants absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen, and at night they release a negligible amount of Co2. Either way, "deforestation" does NOT "release 3 to 5 billion tons of Co2 every year" how the hell does one weigh a gas anyway? And who is Dodge preaching this bullshit to? A troll, Easeltine ("Weaseltime") an old man that has diminished mental capacity due to a few strokes,("Chad14) and some woman named "Turtle"who is very strange indeed.
The site is a loony bin, and I really hope it isn't federally subsidized somehow. I'd hate one penny to go to that corrupt left wing site, especially since it's nearly useless.

STAGE DIRECTOR
By far the most outrageous detractor of the Shepherd's Chapel that I know of, is the person who calls herself 'Stage Director' at FactNet.org. A most prolific liar, among her most absurd are these:
1. Pastor Arnold Murray teaches that the Chinese people are sea animals in a lecture on the Book of Genesis. (that is not a joke, nor is it inaccurate, she really claims this)
2. Murray claims the SC as well as him personally, are mentioned in the Book of Habbukuk.
She bases both claims on her own whimsical interpretations of Murray's lectures on the books aforementioned. A compelling point to note; no one seems to agree with her. For if they did, the web would be ablaze with those accusations, since there is no shortage of anti-SC rhetoric on any number of websites detractors use to spread their misinformation.
She embellishes and adds her own changes and spin to stories she has heard about the SC on the web, and also claims to have "many friends" that are students of the SC. I'm sure they would not be so friendly if they knew the crap she spews on FactNet's forums regarding the SC.She has a habit of frequenting pro-SC forums, and acting like a Goody Two Shoes, yet at FactNet, she shows her true colors as the sleazy, rumor mongering troll she truly is.
Of course, she is quick to point out what everyone else has done which she sees as wrong, especially things she has done herself, which makes her a hypocrite as well. many of her tactics are common among Internet forum users. faced with having to concede she was wrong on one issue or another, she will either change the subject, ignore the post showing she was wrong, and even resort to heckling, making snide remarks which are irrelevant to the topic at hand. At times, she will even disappear for a few days to allow for other topics and posts to bury the one she screwed up on, and, upon her return, she will act as if there never was any controversy regarding what she had said.
The theory goes this woman became obsessed with Murry and the SC, after a failed relationship with an SC student, the breakup having to do with her having lost interest in studying with the SC. There really isn't another plausible explanation for her obsession. She has spent years spreading rumors all over the Internet about the Shepherd's Chapel, and it looks as if she isn't about to cease. All in vain, I say, since the SC is going strong, having more viewers than ever, with virtually it's own channel on DirectTV (224) broadcasting at least 60 hours each week, more than any other religious TV program.
In a way, people like Stage Director actually bring more viewers to the SC program. After all, when people read her outrageous accusations, they just have to tune in, to see if any of them are true. Some may stay and actually become students, others may go their way, but the fact remains, the SC is growing, and is not being affected by idiots like her that spew bullshit about the ministry

Weaseltine The Coward
Ok, Weaseltine. I saw your cowardly post on the black metal thread, now its time for the feedback on it. I know you come here and read this . Thats why you constantly talk your shit about us over at factnet. I would challenge you to bring your pussy ass here, but I know your too much of a wimp to do that. You would much rather spread your venomous bullshit over there.
I love how you try to take a simple interest in a subject and saying that its a desire. Yes, I was reading up on dark magic. Yes I find the subject interesting. Yes, I am a pagan. I could careless what your puritanical ass considers evil. Having a desire for it implies that I openly will show signs of practicing it or being around other who do. Having an interest and a desire are two different things. Something that I know your ass can't comprehend. Because to me your puritanical arrogance is the total embodyment of evil. You know nothing of the subject you speak off, with the exception of what the tarnished Bible tells you (sorry Smyrna, I mean no disrespect to you nor SGNG). The type of energies I deal with are naturalistic and have nothing to do with black magic. But in your ignorant mind there is no difference and continue to huddle yourself in the self inflicted ignorance. You hide in the shadow of fear concerning the unknown. Your constant twisting of words shows how you are the true satan out there.
How long are you going to post about a dead issue such as black metal? How long are you going to continue making an ass of yourself about any of the subjects you talk about because you don't have the brain power to understand the subject. Its the same old thing with your type of Christianity, you talk trash about things you haven't the first clue on. Then when the responses fly, you run and hide and cry because of the aggression. In closing I have a direct message to you, dodge, turtle, and any other hypocritocal piece of shit on that pathetic board. Its called : I Love To Say FUCK by The Murderdolls. Because this is what I think of when I think of self righteous hypocrits like you. By the way, as the song says. I couldn't give a fuck what you say, what you think, what you do, or who you are. You are completely fucking worthless.

Easeltine I think what sad here you only picking on a particular race or do you mean black as evil heavy metal band. See Most heavy metal groups that I heard about growing up. So now you terminology does not compute. Nazism usually means whites as well, but you saying there are black nazi groups. Oh yeah I named one. However that beside the point. I think heavy metal in general seem to bring about certain talk concerning Satan. I would not be surprised if there are not latino and other groups. Satan worshippers are not about race, its acceptance of evil and evil art, and evil practices. Deception to your face. Can be as evil as people walking in sheep clothing. Or worse yet straightly telling you who they are. Yet unless you catch them in a ritual and live to tell it, no one will go to jail.
